Akdamar (32" x 38")

Sale Price:$120.00 Original Price:$250.00
Sold Out

One of the most unique kilims we have ever seen!

The color combination, as well as the all-around tassels make this kilim stand out.

Akdamar was hand-knotted in eastern Turkey, in the province of Van, more than 30 years ago. The vibrant burgundy and navy shades are emphasized by the soft cream base of the kilim. The motifs are among the commonly used, symbolizing fertility, happiness and union. The notable difference here is the cross motif, which is meant to protect the household against evil eye.

Dimensions: 32” x 38” (not including the tassels), approximately 3.5” of tassels on all four sides.
